Fall Classic League
Soccer Maine’s most popular league is the Fall Classic League. It features boys and girls divisions in age groups from Under-9 through Under-14. Your soccer age group is defined as the players age on August 1st of that calendar year.
PSC makes every effort to keep players in their grade appropriate team whenever possible. Playing up an age group is allowed, but is an exception made generally when roster numbers require it. When this is necessary, or when it is requested, the PSC Board including its coaches will review and determine if it is the right decision. PSC aims to field at least 1 team is each age group both boys and girls. Practices can begin on or after August 1.
League Games typically begin the weekend prior to labor day, each team plays 6 games, 3 home and 3 away.
Most teams practice twice weekly at the New Gloucester fairgrounds with additional club technical nights offered. All teams participate in the Cumberland Soccer Club Just for Fun tournament Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Teams play 4, 30 minute non results based games.

We are moving to a 2-year cycle for uniforms
NEW this year! We will be moving to a 2 year cycle for our uniform kits (Jersey/Shorts/Socks). We have partnered with Capelli to provide better quality uniforms that will last.
What does this mean moving to a "2 year cycle"?
- When you register for Fall 2026, keep in mind that uniform will be used for Fall 2026 (& Spring 2027), as well as Fall 2027 (& Spring 2028)
- We are keeping uniform cost as part of registration fee and will be placing the order, as usual
- If you need to order replacement uniform pieces within that 2 year time frame, this will be at your cost and through Capelli
Why would we move to this structure?
- Concerns around rising costs and this will allow us to spread out over a 2 year period allowing us to keep registration fees more affordable
- Many clubs have increased their fees or split out the uniform kits as a separte cost. Some clubs only pay for 1 uniform kit in total.
- This provides better stability in stock, as in the past items have been on back order or material/quality changed
- We want to keep Patriot Soccer affordable and available to all of our local kids. Scholarships are available.
